Participants will be able to
1. Describe executive function profiles associated with different neurodevelopmental disorders, such as intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorder, sex chromosome disorders, and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder.
2. Articulate examples of real world outcomes associated with executive dysfunction in different neurodevelopmental disorders.
3. List components of a novel treatment to improve executive function in youth with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder and autism spectrum disorder.

  1. Apply specific techniques to support improvement in executive functioning at home, in treatment, or at school
  2. Discuss specific scripts or vocabulary and when to use them to increase executive function skills
  3. Summarize the research results examining the effectiveness of an executive function intervention
