2026 PNS Student Awards
PNS has offered two annual student research awards since 1999: the President's Award ($350) and the Francis Fields Memorial Award ($350).
Neuropsychology students are encouraged to submit abstracts of their original pre-doctoral research for one of these two PNS student research awards. Winners present their work at our May Monthly Meeting. Submissions are accepted for either empirical research or for a case presentation. Students in any year of a psychology graduate program that includes neuropsychology coursework, research, and/or clinical experiences are eligible to submit. Students attending graduate school in the Philadelphia area are eligible to apply.
Submissions will be evaluated based on the following criteria: relevance to neuropsychology, methodology, clarity, conclusions, innovation, and diversity considerations.
Students do not need to be PNS members to submit their work. Research conducted as part of post-doctoral training is not eligible. Previous student award winners are not eligible. Students may submit multiple abstracts for consideration, but may not receive more than one award.
**EXTENSION! Applications are due MAY 15th by 11:59pm. Please submit applications below. For any questions regarding this award, please contact PNS Student Representative, Emily Kerl, [email protected]
